EMBERS
Two mothers with sons in trouble at school face a racist high school administration.
Film Discussion Guide
EMBERS and the accompanying Film Discussion Guide is a tool for educators, artists and youth workers interested in anti-racism. It offers a framework to lead open discussions with a variety of audiences about institutional racism, the school-to-prison pipeline and its impact on BIPOC students.
The guide is created by Prakshi Malik and Alfred Sanders who are artists and educators with several years of first-hand experience working with BIPOC and SPED (Special Education) students in high schools in Minnesota.
